A comprehensive understanding of the issues affecting the watershed's primary resources, including soil, water, and vegetation cover, is essential for effective future management and planning of natural resources. Nevertheless, an appropriate baseline has yet to be established to identify the most relevant watershed management strategies. In this regard, the concept of watershed health serves as a robust foundation for developing targeted and effective approaches aimed at mitigating the underlying causes of degradation, enhancing ecosystem resilience, and ultimately managing the outputs of the watershed.
