符淙斌 院士
人物简介
1962年毕业于南京大学气象系,1967年中国科学院研究生毕业,2003年当选为中国科学院院士。中国科学院大气物理研究所研究员;南京大学教授,气候与全球变化研究院院长。曾任中国科协副主席,START全球变化东亚区域研究中心主任,国际科联中国委员会主席,季风亚洲全球变化区域集成研究计划科学委员会主席,太平洋科学协会主席,国际科学理事会执行局成员等职务以及973项目“我国未来生存环境演变和北方干旱化趋势预测研究”和“北方干旱化和人类适应”首席科学家。发起和主持亚洲区域气候模式比较计划和季风亚洲区域集成研究国际计划。2007年获瑞典哥得堡大学荣誉博士学位,2014年当选芬兰科学和文学院外籍院士。是最早参与国际全球变化科学新领域开拓工作的中国学者之一,在热带海洋-大气相互作用,季风气候与生态系统相互作用,气候突变和全球变化的区域响应等前沿领域取得系统的创新成果。发表论文200余篇,著译编书8本。以第一完成人获国家自然科学二等奖1项,以及中国科学院重大成果奖二等奖和自然科学奖三等奖等共5项。
